For the past three days I've been in London, lucky enough to be treated to a few days away to see Van Morrison and The Who at The Royal Albert Hall, as part of the Teenage Cancer Trust gigs.

They were both absolutely phenomanal, and since it's been a lifelong dream to see them both it's finally another thing ticked off the bucket list! The Who played for two and a half hours continuously, note perfect exactly like the albums. Not bad for a couple of old guys who have been in the business for 40 years, still outshining today's musicians!
Whilst we were in London, it would of been rude not to visit my two favourite places; Bar Italia and Ben's Cookies. The cookies speak for themselves, but Bar Italia is certainly worth the short trek through Soho if you're in that area.

The little coffee shop doesn't look like it's changed since the 70's, but that just adds to it's charm. It is becoming a bit of a celeb hangout too, with the likes of Paul Weller and Noel Gallagher being regulary pictured there. Don't let that impact your opinion, the fact it's quite possibly the best coffee on offer should be enough to draw you there.
