Google and Twitter have recently finanlised a deal to make tweets appear in mobile searches. When a topic is now searched for on Google, say for instance the Eurovision Song Contest, relating tweets will appear at the top of the search.
Twitter's Vice President of Global Business Development & Platform Jana Messerschmidt explained it further, "For example, if you’re interested in hearing more from Taylor Swift, a quick search on Google will pull up her most recent Tweets. Or, if you’re a TV buff, a search for #MadMen will bring up the most relevant news and Tweets about Sunday’s series finale."

The move will allow Twitter to be more searchable, whilst expanding the number of people who see tweets, or what Twitter calls its "logged-out user base." The company will make money from a licensing fee with Google, rather than advertising.
