In the awakening of the current trend for the consumer need of experiences in-store, Levi’s expands its in store experience with the launch of its received service – Levi’s Tailor Shop.

One of the best things I love, and many people will agree, about denim is the simpleness and pure versatility. Whether it is raw and clean or ripped to bits and patched up, each pair of jeans will have thier own unique personality. Levi’s are tapping into this with news that they are opening a new customisation service that allows customers to choose how to personalise their Levi’s with a range of applications, alterations or repairs. This service sound absolutely incredible, I'm an avid fan of Levi's, and really believe that you get what you pay for when it comes to jeans. Start your own denim story with a new piece and make it truly personal to your style, or you can give a new lease of life to a much-loved existing Levi’s product if you prefer the Vintage appeal. The service, which is being rolled out in stores worldwide, offers everything from embellishments such as studs, embroidered band or patches as well as the brands existing elements of tailoring which is already offered inside stores. Levi's can provide hem shortening, leg width adjustment, ripping, mending, ageing, abrasion and bleach treatments. The service it quick and affordable, I had a pair of jeans taken in around the ankle to create that true 'skinny' look, I mean, where else could you get a denim service like this?

During an interview with Sportswear International Lizzie Radcliffe, head tailor of the Levi’s Store on Regent Street said “It is important personalising one’s own trouser at best. Denim lovers prefer an authentic look rather than modifying an item last minute. This is why we can offer our in-store tailors’ team support. We can breathe new life in an old 501s Levi’s pair and transform them into a pair of shorts or add a writing to the classic Trucker Jacket, perfect for every look. It’s simply a matter of transforming your denim item into a clothing piece that reflects your own style.”
